Job Description

A wonderful family in Alexandria VA, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Nanny to join their household. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in after school care of four children, ages 14, 12, 8, and 3, ensuring their safety, engagement, and transportation during weekday afternoons. Care will take place Monday-Friday from 2pm -7pm. Care to begin immediately.

A successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills and collaborate closely with the family to maintain an organized schedule, ensuring all children's activities and commitments are managed seamlessly.  The family seeks a dedicated and caring individual with a passion for enriching the lives of children. Nanny will be responsible for closely monitoring and attending to the children’s daily needs. Other duties consist of prepping meals and keeping areas of care clean and tidy.

Responsibilities:

●      Pick up children from daycare and school

●      Drive children to and from after-school activities

●      Facilitate play and age-appropriate activities

●      Ensure a clean and organized environment

●      Limit screen time for children

●      Collaborate with the family to maintain a harmonious routine

●      Work closely with the family to keep track of children's schedules and commitments

Requirements

Qualifications:

●      Minimum 3 years of childcare experience

●      Clean driving record

●      CPR/First Aid certified

●      Clear criminal background check

●      Strong organizational and time management skills

●      Proficient in the English Language

Benefits

Pay: $25 per hour
